I seal the holes with a metal fiberglass bondo combination sand it smooth then refinish it. I take the goop and apply it liberally to four of the shields. Water leaking from jets internal cracks or bad gasket still leaking. Aug 3 2016 diy seal jetted tub jets with pvc end caps.

Dealers manuyfacturer may have replacement plugs designed for taking the ports jets out and replacing them because depending on jet nozzle design and materials might be tough to get a good seal with a plug on the tub side. Next i clean the tub and all jets and allow them to completely dry. With the valves closed or not run the jets on high for 10 or 15 minutes or until debris from the internal plumbing stops washing into the water in the tub. I remove all foam backing tape from all 5 shields so that they are flat and clean surfaces.

I spray an industrial aerospace heavy duty epoxy that comes in over 50 colors most clients choose white the best way to get rid of those jets is to cut them out and seal the holes then refinish the entire tub as you can see in this photo i posted. Flush the tub one more time. If you got through 1 5 and found no puddles or dripping water it s time to look at the spa jets which leak rarely maybe 10 of the time.
