Parmak solar fence charger troubleshooting.
This manual covers installation of parmak electric fence chargers including solar powered models.
Step 3 over 400 volts.
If you are unable to find local service or would like to send the fence charger directly to parmak s factory service center the address is parker mccrory mfg.
Do you have a fence charger that is in need of repair.
Feel free to contact our service department and we ll be happy to help.
If over 400 volts your ground rod is leaking too much voltage.
Your fence charger must have it s own separate ground system.
If your parmak electric fence charger needs service inside or outside your warranty period you can contact your local dealer to see if they currently offer factory authorized service.
Step 1 power.
Do notinstall fence ground rods within 50 feet of any utility ground system.
If the fencer work ticks meter moves then it is a fence issue short broken wire.
Use your zareba fence doctor to read the voltage on the ground wire.

Step 2 check voltage.
If a parmak fence charger is damaged by lightning it is covered by warranty and the fence charger can be returned for service.
After the charging period.
If fencer fails output repair replace fencer.
Do you have an older unit that you need troubleshooting help with.
This causes a poor ground condition.
Poor ground could cause stray voltage if fencer ground system is located within 50 feet of a utility ground.
If battery takes a charge reinstall back in fencer and see if fencer output is hot.
Else verify the fencer is charging the battery.
Disconnect the unit from the fence and turn it on.
Add extra ground rods or make them deeper.
Connect your fence and ground hook up wires then turn the power on.
If it doesn t then it is an issue with the unit its self and it will probley need a pcb or service.
